The Massachusetts Coalition for Health Equity hosted a rally at the State House to promote vaccine equity in the Commonwealth. Senator Rausch joined to speak in favor of robust public health protections and promote her COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Act.

"This is about bad management from our executive," she said. "And that bad management has led to massive waste of fiscal and other state resources."

Senator Rausch hosted a series of Local Leadership Lunches to highlight the work of district women for Women's History Month.

“It’s not fair for teachers to spend their already limited time searching mediocre-at-best websites to try and find appointments,” Rausch said.

Covers event at Charles River School in Dover in which students presented their ideas for a new MA state flag to Senator Rausch, who co-sponsored the legislation calling to change it.

“This afternoon’s announcement by the Baker-Polito Administration shows a recognition that targeted outreach efforts are desperately needed to speed vaccination in the communities hardest hit by COVID – something we welcome as ‘better late than never,'” Democratic senators Sonia Chang-Díaz and Becca Rausch and representatives Liz Miranda and Mindy Domb said in a statement. “But the announcement is exasperatingly short on specifics.”

“Gov. (Charlie) Baker’s decisions to create a buddy system at mass vaccination sites and simultaneously strip community-based vaccination locations of doses are the latest in a long line of serious lapses in judgment that significantly hinder COVID vaccine distribution,” said Rausch, whose senate district includes much of the Attleboro area.

Senator Rausch co-sponsored a bill to prohibit MA public schools from using Native American mascots, logos, and team names. Mentions BR has signed onto the bill.
